In this 12-hour durational performance at Mobius (November 2010) beginning at 12 noon and ending at midnight, audience participants engage one-on-one with performing artists in intimate acts of storytelling, remembrance, writing, spinning, and sewing: an occasion to reflect on the losses and continued suffering endured by the people of Haiti. The vessel, charged with the authentic power of healing intention in the presence of embellished bottles, sequin-illuminated textiles, transforming texts and other expressive forms, guides and anchors this ritual performance.
